Self portrait with bird

self portrait with bird

21cm x 29.7cm, lino print

I take a chiseling pose and draw a fluid lines surrounding me. It looks like Aladdin’s lamp because boy’s legs are blurred lines. Wood printing is simplified by few lines. I imagined that a boy chisel the line of action. The bird flaps its wing and sheds feathers to the ground. I sometimes include motion of birds in artworks because it flies in the air, which represents freedom.
